I know these have been on the market for a seriously long time now , but I was intrigued so I picked one up last time I was back in England . I got the shade ' Powder Puff ' , which is quite a matte pale beige toned nude , as I was on the look out for a nice nude , something wearable for an every day look .
Yes , well , that sadly didn't happen in my case .. First time I applied it , it looked nude , but with an orange look to it , like a foundation in the complete wrong shade . It did not look good or flattering on me at all . Maybe on a different skin tone , it might look ok , and might suit someone , but on my pale skin , sadly it did not ! I will pass it on to a friend of mine , and see what she thinks , maybe it just needs a different complexion . I will have to get back to you on that one .
I couldn't get on with the consistency of this either , it didn't apply evenly , and clung to any little line or dry patch , and I mean any little thing ! It just seemed to amplify things , but not in a good way . And after a while became quite drying . As I said this is the only shade I picked up , so it may not be the case for the darker shades ! I just didn't seem to get on with this at all unfortunately .
I can't say I'll be picking up another shade , I know they are on the really cheap side at £2.99 , but there wasn't really anything that I liked about using this , the smell was a bit on the strong side for me also , a very sweet vanilla , but a little on the over powering side , which again is just something I wasn't fond of , so someone else may like this . I will pass this along and see how my friend gets on with it , you never know ! What I can say about it is , the staying power seemed to be pretty good , but that's not enough for me to get another .
On to the next discovery now I guess , onwards and upwards !
