For Dramatic Fluttery Lashes : Lancome Hypnose Star Mascara Noir Midnight

I will start this off by saying this Mascara is quite possibly the best I've ever owned . It's genuinely fantastic , all I want in a mascara , it lengthens , it gives volume , and it makes my lashes just look so fluttery ! The first time I tried this , my partner ( the kinda man that wouldn't notice if you've had
your hair done , unless I dyed it bright pink perhaps) actually asked me if I put those "fake lash things" on - I was shocked ! And at that moment I knew , that this is some pretty awesome stuff .

To start off with , a little about the brush , it's not like a mascara wand I've used before , it's a dual sided brush , one with a straight edge , the other with a slanting edge and longer bristles . At first I thought , how much of a difference can it make , but somehow it actually does . I use the flat edge first , which seems to build the volume , and then the longer side builds the length and gives them that gorgeous fluttery "fake lash things" curl . I do like to spend a bit of time doing this and building it up to a more dramatic effect. It doesn't leave me with clumps and the black is a really intense blacker than black .

I haven't even mentioned the packaging yet ! It's stunning , I have never seen such beautiful packaging for a mascara, I mean just look at it ! It's black , there's glitter , there's sparkle , ahh I'm in love ! I know , I know , it's not all about the packaging , but you can't not take notice of it ?!

Formula and packaging , massively impressed , and unless something comes along that's on the cheaper side and can beat these results , I can't say I'll be switching ! I'd always heard great things about Lancome mascaras , I don't know why I waited so long to try it - well I think the price may have delayed my purchase for a while ! At around 30 euros , it is pretty expensive , but I have to say I wasn't disappointed with it at all . So if it is within your budget , or if you are looking to treat yourself ( don't we all deserve a treat every now and again ?! ) I would definitely recommend trying this glittery wand of amazing out !
