For Us Pale Skin Gals : Dove Summer Glow Nourishing Lotion Gradual Tanner

The clue is in the title , it's all pretty straight forward , which is why I really like this stuff . It's just easy . I'm not someone that likes to stay faffing about with fake tan , I don't have much patience for it , and because of my lack of practice in the art of fake tan ,
I tend to end up with the odd streak or orange knuckles and ankles - not the greatest look !

I have been using this for years now , and I find it is just enough to take the edge off my pale skin in summer , just enough to give it a bit of a glow , and just enough to not look like 'Casper' in a swimsuit .
As I said , I don't have much patience for fake tan , so this is right up my street , simple and pretty much fool proof . I tend to use this once I get out the shower and just rub it into my arms , legs etc , I don't use any technique , just as you normally would with any other body moisturiser . I wait a couple of minutes to get dressed so it all soaks in , and that's that ! As it says on the tin , it's a gradual tanner , so you cant expect miracles or to wake up and expect to see a bronzed goddess in the mirror , what you can expect though is a slight natural sun kissed tint to the areas applied . If I know I'm going to want a bit more colour the following morning , I'll apply it once I'm out the shower , and then apply a second layer just before I go to bed .

Some people aren't keen on the smell of this , as it has that kind of 'biscuity' scent associated with a tanner , but I actually quite like it ! For me it's a bit nostalgic as I used to use this as a teenager ( ah the simpler times ! ) .

All in all this will always be a product that I continue to use , and keep repurchasing , it's just so darned easy to use , it's moisturising , leaves a nice natural colour , fades evenly and can be built up for more colour . And it is so inexpensive ! The last time I picked one up from my local supermarket , it was about 6 or 7 euros , and the bottle lasts me all summer and then some .

I've also noticed that from this same range they have a gradual tanner for face , I haven't tried it yet - but it's definitely on my to do list . And if it is anything as good as its counterpart , I'll be impressed !
