The Does What It Says On The Tin Eye Cream : Emu Oil Well Moisturising Eye Cream

 

Eye creams can be hit or miss , so many promise so much , but the results just aren't what they're hyped up to be . And for the amount some of them cost ( a small fortune ! ) you expect to get what you pay for .

About a year ago I was browsing through feelunique.com ( I think I have a problem ) , and came across this stuff 'The Emu Oil Well - Moisturising Eye Cream' . I had never heard a thing about the brand before , but it caught my eye . I had a read about it , and liked what I saw , especially the ingredients , and what it claimed . Still unsure whether to pop it in my basket , I had a look at the reviews - and boy were there a lot of them ! This little tin had 100 plus , raving reviews . Now I know why !

There weren't any ludicrous over the top claims to get rid of bags , magically make wrinkles disappear, or wipe 20 years off your face . Just simple facts . On their website it states :

 "Emu Oil Well Moisturising Eye Cream is a gentle moisturising and nourishing recipe that combines the benefits of emu oil with Hyaluronic acid, Retinyl Palmitate and naturally beneficial skin nutrients. Using the cream twice a day will hydrate and soothe, soften, improve elasticity and reduce wrinkles. "

Which is exactly what it does . The ingredients are as natural as possible which I love . The cream itself is a very light , very creamy consistency , and it really does just feel so nourishing and soothing around the eye area . I apply it under my eyes and around the brow bone . I like to keep mine in the fridge so when I apply it , morning and night , it feels refreshing . And once I've applied it , I gently roll the tin ( because it's metal it remains really nice and cold ) around any puffy eye areas I might have , to help bring it down . And it sits perfectly under make up , and helps concealer or foundation glide across the area .
Since I've been using it , the area around my eyes has really improved , less sensitive and far more nourished . Everything it promised . And I for one am pretty chuffed about it , especially with 15 % off at the moment its 9.88 Euros for a generous 25ml , at 'Feelunique' .

 A bargain in my eyes ! ( Oh yes , cheesy pun intended! )
