Can I Get A Hallelujah !

Oh yes , I am ecstatic that summer is coming to an end ! I am one of those people that really does not get on with the heat - at all ! So yes , I pretty much live in the wrong country , the heat and humidity in Malta just does not bode well with me , I'm definitely a winter kinda gal . Now don't get
me wrong , I know we are only in October , but surely that doesn't mean I can't be excited about it cooling off ? As alas after many months , there is finally a crisp breeze in the air and the nights are at last getting cooler .

We don't really get what I would call a proper Autumn over here , for me Autumn is what I associate with having when I was younger growing up back home in England . Crisp chilly air , that is just starting to give you flushed cheeks and a pink nose , and beautifully coloured leaves on the trees and jumping in the crunching fallen leaves on the ground . As well as just starting to bring out your scarf for the cooler of days . By far my favourite season , can you tell ?

Ok so maybe over here Autumn is a little different , but that doesn't mean I can't embrace the things that come along with the change of season , I may have to wait a little longer than I like for it to really cool off properly , but still a few little things can bring a bit of Autumn into my life . For one , I love a good scented candle , whereas in summer I don't burn them , as lets face it , it's hot enough with out an extra flame being burnt ! But I do love that when it cools off you can have a yummy smelling candle burning on an evening when it starts getting darker earlier . And I adore a good Yankee Candle like 'Home Sweet Home' or 'Vanilla Chai' . Being home and relaxed on a cold rainy evening with a gorgeous smelling candle burning and a good book in hand , well nothing quite beats it .. OK maybe if there's a glass of Rose and a bar of dark chocolate in the other hand ! hmmm ..

I've already found myself hovering over the order button on Feel Unique with a basket of plummy brown and red eyeshadows , like 'Rimmels Glam Eyes 5 Eyeshadow Palette' in 'Brixton Brown' and impatiently waiting to wear 'Maybelline Color Tattoo' in 'Pomegranate Punk' a stunning jewel toned cranberry with golden flecks . Not to mention , ready to bring out the berry toned lipsticks like 'Revlons Super Lustrous Lipstick' in 'Black Cherry' and 'Rimmels Kate Moss Lipstick' in the ever spoken about '107' , both moisturising enough for the cooler weather , but with a real kick of colour .

And not forgetting the perfect Autumn come Winter boot , my favourites that I've added to my collection ready for the cooler temperatures coming , are Newlooks Black Suede Side Zip Ankle Boot in black , for an every day comfortable shoe that will go with pretty much everything from skinny jeans , to a pretty dress and tights . And the splurge addition , are these beautiful Roldan Grey Suede Over The Knee Boots from Dune Black .

So yes ,  as you can see I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of the cooler months , and I will embrace it with Open arms , Berry lips , a Vanilla Chai'd home and Suede on my feet !
