A while back I mentioned I could not wait to get my hands on the new Lacquer Balms by Revlon, and I finally did ! Were they everything I hoped for ? Oh yes !
I love the simplicity and ease of these crayon style products , they look chic , perfect for throwing in
your handbag for touch ups , and totally quick and easy for a no mirror application - car and bus proof , tried and tested ! ( Even on these roads ! )
Just like their previous lip products in the latest ranges , they contain a blend of Shea , Mango and Coconut butter for a really moisturising , lip balm like feel . They go on so incredibly smooth , with no streaks , and they can be built up for more intense colour , which is perfect for taking the look from day to night , pop on one sweep of sheer colour for the daytime , and another one or two for the evening for a more dramatic effect .
The colour I got is the shade 'Coquette'* the most beautiful pretty pink , that's the best way I can describe it , such a pretty shade of pink , with a slight blue undertone , that I think would suit most skin tones . Just a real gorgeous pop of colour for the lips that instantly brightens things up .
In the packaging you notice some shimmer , but it's not to much , it translates onto the lips into a lovely almost reflective pearly shine .
So comfortable to wear , and another great contender in their already fab lip product line . (Keep an eye out for another lip product launch from Revlon in the near future , I will keep you posted ! I am Very excited !)
