New Revlon Parfumerie Scented Nail Enamel

Lets just have a moment for these nail polish bottles ,  I mean have you ever seen a more adorable and chic design ?! I just want to collect them all and put them on show ! Revlon seriously  hit the nail on the head with these  ...  Ok , now I got that out of my system , let me give you my thoughts on the actual product .

Packaging aside , I'm impressed , the formula is great . The first time I used it I was ready to go in for my usual two coats , but after putting on the first coat , I just left it at that ! At the time I was in a hurry , and just the one coat left a gorgeous opaque colour , if you have the time I would advise putting on a second coat , but purely for added longevity . With two coats ( no top coat ) it lasts like your normal nail polish , about 4 days before you start seeing chips . It looks , feels , and applies like a higher end nail polish , but with the drugstore price tag of  around 5.50 Euros.

The shade I used is 'China Flower'* a very pretty bright poppy red , it applied beautifully , went on opaque , totally even and streak free . After 12 minutes ( oh yes , I timed it! ) , the one coat I applied was perfectly dry , like wash your hands , towel dry and not even a smudge or  scratch , that kinda dry !

The whole thing behind this range is that they're all scented . Each with a different fragrance group infused with essential oils  -

' Exotic and Fruity notes   -   Woody and Warm notes   -   Light and Airy notes '

So far , as I said I have tried China Flower , which is part of the exotic and fruity group , at first I was skeptical about how much fragrance a nail polish could have , but I was pleasantly surprised ! They do actually smell nice ! And for the first day or so , every time your hands are anywhere near your face you get a nice light fragrance off them ! Who knew !?
With a great range of shades there is something for everyone . I definitely have my eye on more , three in particular which are right up my street and can't wait to try!

Swooon ! The bright fuchsia pink is 'African Tea Rose' , the beautiful pinky coral is 'Ginger Melon' , and the deep glittery brown is 'Autumn Spice' (probably my new fave colour for cooler months!) .
I will definitely pop up some swatches of these gorgeous shades when I cave in to getting them .
Lets face it , it's gonna be sooner than I'd like to admit !
