Now although in secondary school , I wasn't one to wear makeup , I would apply the odd bit of concealer to my seriously spot prone teenage skin . We couldn't really get away with any more than that as they were a bit on the strict side . And there was no way I wanted to wake up any earlier than
Firstly for base , I'd go for the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation . It'll give medium coverage , but you can sheer it out if you don't need much , and also build it where you need a little more . It looks amazing on young skin , and is the perfect thing to give your skin that fresh faced glow . To keep this as non time consuming as possible , you can apply it with fingers , or my favourite way is by using the Real Techniques Buffing Brush , it will be blended into the skin beautifully in seconds .
When it comes to the eyes , you want to keep it simple , and hide any dark circles courtesy of staying up a little to late the night before . My weapon of choice is the Maybelline Lumi Touch , it does the job , covers and illuminates where you need it . All in that handy pen style brush , so handy for any touch ups throughout the day . If you find you have any redness on the waterline , try Rimmel Scandeleyes Waterproof Khol pencil in Nude . Perfect for covering any redness !
Next on the eyes , a quick coat of mascara . I prefer to go for a brown waterproof one , as it looks more natural and will stay put throughout the day and any obligatory yawning . My favourite is the No7 Extravagant Volume Waterproof in Brown , an alternative available over here , would be Maybellines The Rocket Waterproof Mascara - not available in brown though . Don't forget to curl your lashes before , to give your eyes a wide eyed look , it'll make a big difference !
To finish things off , pop on a bit of colour on your cheeks to give a bit of a glow . You don't want to go to heavy on this , so just lightly apply a sheer dusting of blush on the apples of your cheeks , go for a peachy pink to keep it natural and pretty . The best colour and formula for this kind of look that I would go for is the Revlon Powder Blush in Racy Rose . A beautiful shade that will suit most skin tones . If you need it , apply a touch of powder in areas like down the T Zone to keep any oil at bay . Rimmel Stay Matte Powder is a bit of a classic that will do the job .
Lastly on the lips , you want something natural , hydrating and flattering . I love the Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butters , they're so easy to use and comfortable to wear , and again you can go for a pinky neautral lip - Pink Truffle is stunning , or a more nude beige toned lip like Creme Brulee , whatever looks best on your skin tone . Alternatively something like the Burts Bees Lip Balm are also amazing for hydration , and for adding the sheerest tint to lips .
Et Voila ! That's the quick natural make up look , just adapt it to what you feel comfortable in . Plus , it won't take up much precious sleep time , 10 minutes and your done !
