It Really Is All About The Base ..

I have been using this Inglot Under Make Up Base for around 3 years now , and that in itself speaks quite a bit , as I have a tendency to be rather promiscuous with Make-Up , aren't we all though ?! Products usually fleet through my Make-Up bag , coming and going , but this one has had a permanent fixture there since I first bought it . And here's why .. After giving my skin a quick
cleanse , I pop a pea sized amount of this on with my fingers , gently smoothing it across my face , paying attention to areas where my pores are a little on the larger side . And in an instant , everything just looks soft focused and smooth . You could wear this on its own if you were having a day with out Make-Up , but didn't want to go totally barefaced , and I feel it gives a sort of protective barrier to the skin . It has a silicone texture to it , which for me works perfectly , smoothing out any imperfections on my skin and also absorbing any excess oil through out the day keeping things relatively matte , but not flat looking . Foundation also blends seamlessly over the top of this stuff , and it just keeps things looking fresher for longer throughout the day .

I also find that if I don't use this and just go in with foundation or concealer , the next day I end up with a few of those God awful things called spots , and my skin generally feeling a little clogged . This lovely stuff just creates the perfect little barrier between my skin and whatever Make-Up menu is in store for that day .

Will I keep buying it ? Yes . Do I think it's worth its 21 Euro price tag ? Yeh , I kinda do ! It lasts me a good 9-12 months and saves my skin quite a bit of bother !
